The California Supreme Court said Sept. 30, 2026, that its Oct. 7, 2026, oral argument calendar, previously set for a special outreach session in Redding, will instead be heard in the court’s San Francisco courtroom because of unforeseen circumstances.

The court said it regrets that it is unable to visit Redding at this time and plans to conduct a special outreach session in Redding in a future court year.

The oral argument calendar will remain as previously set by the court, according to the Judicial Branch news release. Oral argument will be livestreamed on the Judicial Branch website at supreme.courts.ca.gov and on the California Courts Newsroom at newsroom.courts.ca.gov, the court said.
