San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health said it is recruiting child psychiatrists to expand public behavioral health services across the county.

The department said psychiatrists work on multidisciplinary teams providing psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, treatment planning and collaboration with clinicians and other care-team members to support individuals and families.

The County listed recruiter incentives and work terms: 4/10 work schedules; telework opportunities of up to 64 hours per pay period; up to 105,000 dollars in loan repayment through the Steven M. Thompson Physician Corps for three years of service; up to 75,000 dollars in loan repayment through the National Health Service Corps for two years of service, with the potential for additional loan repayment through continued service at qualifying NHSC‑approved sites; and 5 percent differential pay for ABPN Board Certification.
