San Bernardino County is inviting residents and visitors to submit photos and short videos for a new feature called SBC Through Your Eyes, the county said Oct. 15, 2026.

The county said selected submissions will appear in the weekly County Update newsletter, on the county website and on its social media pages; contributors will be given credit for their work.

The county said it will accept images and videos in these categories: Destinations; Wildlife; Flowers; Cityscapes; Landscapes; Nature; Architecture; Miscellaneous.

Photo rules: the county said you must own the photos, they must be taken within San Bernardino County, they must be JPG files no larger than 5MB with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi, and they cannot contain people; include a caption and photographer credit and do not submit heavily edited or AI-created images.

Video rules: the county said you must own the footage, it must be recorded within the county, videos must be vertical MP4s under 90 seconds, they cannot contain people, music or graphics, brief narration is allowed, text overlays are required for accessibility and do not submit AI-generated videos; include a caption and videographer credit.

By submitting material you understand the county may use it in the County Update newsletter, on the website and on social media, the county said; if your submission is selected you will be notified by email.
